Nosocomial infections preventative strategies is as complex as the many different factors that contribute to contamination, such as:
- the patient’s medical situation and the treatment he or she receives
- the quality of the care administered and the compliance with the rules of practice, particularly in operations and invasive medical procedures
- the safety of the medical environment
Each of these elements, and their interaction, can be the cause of nosocomial infections.
For certain patients who are at higher risk, prevention is much more difficult. Zero risk does not exist, but it is possible to approach if the strict observance of the rules of hygiene is reinforced by the use of the right equipment. During transfers
